We had folks posted up all night behind a big, beautiful kissing booth made by Melanie Hoff. In the corner, we had a little tent for listening to first kiss stories and having a first kiss of your own. And for the first time in their long and storied friendship, Kaitlin and Mitra made out. Everybody kissed — right on the lips. Once everyone had their first round of drinks and kisses, Kaitlin and Mitra stepped inside the booth to kick off a group-listening session, after which we partied to the big tunes provided by Geometer and DJ LOLO HAHA.

ABOUT THE EVENT

We just launched our first season, first episode, & new website — and we’d like to celebrate. 

Join us at Jack's on Friday, January 30th at 8pm for a night of firsts: a first release, a first dance, a first kiss. We invite you to languish on cushions and carpets while listening to dream-like audio documentaries about the terrifying and titillating moments of a first kiss. Buy a kiss at the kissing booth. Have a drink. Discover a secret installation or two. And then dance until the night is dead. 

There will be a kissing booth operated by the best-looking people in radio (yes, they exist). The staff of the Heart will all be taking a shift at the booth. (This is your chance). There will be unreleased audio from your new favorite show The Heart, sweet installations created by Melanie Hoff, and music performances by Geometer (Kyle Kaplan of the "Last" episode) and DJ Lolo Haha.

Here’s how the night will unfold:
8 PM
Drinks, kissing booth, secret hearts installation, first kissing installation

9:30 PM
Live audio “screening”: “First” and some other surprises, hosted by Kaitlin Prest

10 PM
Music performance by Geometer (aka Kyle Kaplan of the “LAST” episode)

10:30 PM - 1 AM
Dance Dance Dance Dance Dance Dance Dance. DJ Lolo Haha.
