When I was a kid I believed that the objects that surrounded me were secretly alive (maybe you did too?). That the soft pillow would get jealous if I favoured the firm pillow. That the grunting of the ‘84 Oldsmobile was actually the sound of its tired soul. I will tell you a love story where the childhood fantasy of benevolent objects is not a fantasy at all.  [Kaitlin Prest]
